My Plan

While listening to the Barack Obama back to school Speech, In Arlington, Virginia on September 8, 2009, I felt like I related to most of what he was saying. It was very interesting to know that he was raised by a single mother. But there were two quotes that he said that got to me, "And no matter what you want to do with your life, I guarantee that you'll need an education to do it", "That’s why today, I'm calling on each of you to set your own goals for your education, and to do everything you can to meet them". Hearing Barack Obama say, "And no matter what you want to do with your life, I guarantee that you'll need an education to do it", Made me think more about my future and what I need to do to be successful. I got an understanding , that if I want something out of life , I have to be the one to prepare for it. So this school year I plan on making changes within myself, In my prospective on life and change the way I feel about school. Knowing that he grew up in a poverty community just like me and may others, and realizing that if he can become the president of the united states, i can also make it and become anything.
